CraftNote Desktop

I was the lead designer for the desktop/web application for CraftNote, a meeting notes app with a wide suite of features centered around AI voice transcription and text reformatting. We began developing CraftNote Desktop a year after launching the mobile app, aiming to solidify our product's position among an audience of at-desk professionals whose work revolves around meetings and calls.

After a brief prototyping period where core app features were implemented, I took ownership of the design and front-end architecture for the desktop app, with a mandate to redesign the entire UI and UX from scratch in alignment with our product goals. I rebuilt the design system from scratch with new typography, a new color scheme with a complete primitive and semantic color palette; implemented the UI layer of the tech stack with a hand-built UI kit library based on said design system; established documentation and design/development conventions around CraftNote's UI kit for both agentic and human operations; and meticulously re-evaluated our user flows feature by feature to fit into a desktop-based user experience that integrates into users' workflows.

I also led the design and development of CraftNote's landing page website, overhauling the entire design multiple times to accommodate both desktop and mobile funnels.
